April 12, 2012

A crowd gathered in the Atrium at HRMC to listen the music during the

Evening of Entertainment.

Matt Koger, M.D., "The Singing Doctor," entertained the crowd with his original songs.
Chastity Watson was on stage for the event. Her mother, Aliea Watson, on the right, provided the music. Aliea is an HRMC employee.
The group, Grin and Bear It, finished out the evening on stage with their performance of music, storytelling and comedy.
A Texas Ranger basket including two tickets to an upcoming Ranger game was part of the evening's attractions. The winning ticket will be chosen on April 20. Some 1,700 tickets were sold at the event at $1 each, which will go to the Relay for Life. Some $6,000 was raised through the silent auction and donations.
Registering for the silent auction. All proceeds from the auction went to the Hunt Regional Healthcare Relay for Life Team. Registrars were HRMC employees Barb Bherns and Rodney Gibson.
John Ervin, left, and Jack Gray pose with Marilyn, who went home with a lucky auction winner.
The auction crowd studies the items offered before making their bids.
Keith Buckman and Mark Travis stand behind the "goodie" table that was one of the highlights of the evening. Their employer, Vanguard, donated the "heavy hors d'oeuvres" for the event.
