Visiting Hours

The main entrance at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville is open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Entrance/exit to the facility after visiting hours must be made through the emergency department. Visitors are expected to sign-in to the facility using the LobbyGuard system located in the ER waiting room. Visitors are asked to wear the name badge that prints from the LobbyGuard computer.

Primary visitation times for regular inpatient rooms are 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Because many Hunt Regional patients are susceptible to infection, individuals with recent exposure to illness or infection should refrain from visiting patients.

Visitors should be limited to no more than two in a patient room. Please contact the nurse before entering a room marked isolation. An overhead page at 9:00 p.m. will alert visitors that visiting hours are over.

One overnight visitor is allowed in a patient room. Overnight stays by visitors are not permitted in the lobby areas. Children under the age of 18 years of age are not permitted to stay overnight.

Visitation is limited to two immediate family members. Visitation may be halted by the nursing staff as warranted by the patient’s condition or emergency condition of the other patients in the unit. The family will be provided visiting time as soon as appropriate.
