About
Our Outpatient Behavioral Health program is tailored to meet the unique needs of older adults and their caregivers. The program aims to address physical decline, loss of independence, safety concerns, and mental health issues such as depression that often come with aging. The program is staffed by a team of fully licensed professionals, including social workers, counselors, therapists, and medical technicians. This collaborative approach ensures patients receive the best possible care from diagnosis to implementation, with adjustments made as needed.
Services
Treatment modalities are designed to meet the unique needs of adults by educating patients, families, and caregivers regarding mental health issues affecting daily living.
Treatment is supervised by a licensed physician and provided by a team that includes master’s-level clinicians and mental health providers. Caregivers, families, and primary care physicians are encouraged to participate in the process by identifying problems and solutions.
Program Components
Admission
A clinical evaluation is conducted at no cost to determine if treatment is necessary. A psychiatrist and the primary care physician will collaborate to diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment before admission to the program. Caregivers, families, and primary care physicians are encouraged to participate in treatment. Payment options for the program include Medicare, and most private insurance plans are accepted after co-payments and deductibles are met.
*Please note that transportation needs are assessed for each patient.
Refer a Patient
Our Outpatient Behavioral Health program accepts referrals from physicians, healthcare professionals, human service agencies, clergy, and concerned family members or friends. Call 903.886.2238 to schedule a clinical evaluation.
We recognize that mental health problems also impact families and encourage their involvement throughout the treatment process. The emotional distress can be overwhelming, which is why we encourage families to be involved in the treatment process from beginning to end.
