Hunt Regional Healthcare understands that every pregnancy is a unique and special journey. Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals is here to provide you and your growing family with exceptional care, support, and guidance every step of the way.

We prioritize the health and well-being of both mother and baby. Our state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with the latest medical technology, ensuring the highest quality of care for expectant mothers. Our team consists of experienced obstetricians, gynecologists, nurses, and support staff who are committed to delivering personalized and compassionate care to make your birthing experience as comfortable and memorable as possible.

Services

Our Maternity Center offers private suites for labor, delivery, and recovery, each with a private bath and a TV for your comfort. Our post-delivery rooms are also private and pleasant, featuring a sleep chair, TV, private bath, and plenty of space for your baby.

We have state-of-the-art operating suites for cesarean deliveries. Additionally, our newborn nursery is equipped with a level 3 NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) to care for premature babies or those with medical complications. We prioritize your baby's safety with our advanced infant security system throughout your stay.

 

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Hunt Regional Medical Center offers the highest level of care provided by our team of neonatologists. Our NICU provides advanced services and technologies for the newest member of your family and specialized care during high-risk pregnancies.

This course covers various topics such as pregnancy, labor, medical procedures, comfort techniques, postpartum, and newborn care. Our goal is to prepare mothers to be active participants in their birthing experience. Our class provides an opportunity to ask questions, consider birthing preferences, and ease the anxiety associated with a new experience.
 
When: Second Sunday of each Month from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm

What you will learn:

You will learn how to breastfeed and get tips on preparing for and maintaining lactation. We’ll also touch on the many benefits of breastfeeding and what you can expect at Hunt Regional Medical Center. In addition, we will talk about support beyond your hospital stay to help you during the weeks and months ahead.

Fathers and other family members are encouraged to attend.

When: 4th Monday of every month, 6:00 pm
